Before you tow the vehicle you will want to consult the owners manual for information on towing the vehicle. For the 2010 Honda CR-V, you will need to use Roadmaster base plates, # RM-521559-4, that you referenced. Base plates are vehicle specific so the # 199-5 base plates will not fit the 2010 Honda CR-V. You can use the Roadmaster Falcon 5250 tow bar with base plates # RM-521559-4. You can also use the Brake Buddy.
In addition to the base plates, braking system, safety cables, and tow bar, you will also need a lighting solution. There are several lighting systems available, see link, but there are some choices better for frequent towing and others if you will not be towing too often.
If you will not be towing often I recommend a magnetic light kit like # RM-2120. This system is quick and easy to install and you will not have to cut into the vehicle wiring for installation.
If you will be towing frequently then I recommend using the diode kit # 154-792-118158. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this kit for you to view. I have also included a helpful link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you.
