Have a 2012 tacoma and would like to install a redarc liberty brake controller. Would this install be plug and play or would I have to splice wires.

To install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR all you need is the install harness part # 3040-P and the part # 331-TPH-017 for your 2012 Toyota Tacoma with the factory 7-way. The part # 3040-P plugs into the brake controller port on your truck and the # 331-TPH-017 adapts that to plug directly into the Liberty.
