Camco Olympian Wave 8 Heater Compatibility With 1 lb Disposable Propane Tank

Question:

I need find out which parts I need to operate my Wave 8 heater. From your website it appears I need CAM 59213 adapter. Do I need a regulator with a 1 lb throw away propane tank. Your website seems to suggest that and recommends CAM57703. However looking at the picture showing hose and regulator, the end with the black fitting looks like it fits a 30 lb propane tank

Your Camco Olympian Wave 8 heater utilizes a 3/8 female flare swivel connection. If you already have the hose with the regulator for a standard 20 or 30 lb tank, then you can simply use the Camco Propane Adapter - Female P.O.L./Male ACME x 1"-20 Throwaway Cylinder # CAM59213 you referenced or the MB Sturgis Disposable Propane Bottle Adapter Fitting # 204132-MBS.

If you don't already have the hose, you can use the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator w/ 6' Long Hose # CAM57703 with the above adapter referenced for the 1 lb disposable tank. The hose is for a standard 20 or 30 lb tank so you will need the adapter. If you want a different length of hose, I've linked the page to those options.

You will need one of those hoses and an adapter for use as there isn't a hose with regulator that directly fits the 3/8 flare and 1-20 disposable tank connection.
