To equip your 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata with 5-pin trailer wiring, you will need a 4-pole wiring harness and a 5-pole adapter.
We don't have a custom wiring kit for the 2020 Miata yet, but we do have a universal kit that can give you the 4-way harness without plugging into the Miata's ports. It's the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 119250KIT. This kit will plug into your vehicle's tail lights to provide the signals needed for a 4-pole. I've included a video installation of this kit so you can see how it's done. Getting to your tail lights' wiring will be different, but the concept is the same.
Because you have a motorcycle trailer (and not a standard trailer), you will need a converter to separate the circuits of the Tekonsha harness from a 2-way circuit to a 3-way circuit. To do that, use the Curt 2-To-3-Wire Tail Light Converter, part # C56196. I've linked to a video review of this converter.
For the adapter, we have the Tow Ready 4-Pole to 5-Pole Adapter, part # 20036. This will give you what you need to connect to your trailer's 5-way setup. I've linked to a video installation of this adapter as well.
