Recommended 7 Pin Plug Mounting Bracket for Ground Clearance
Question:
Do you have any suggestions about how to mount a 7 pin round plug for my camper? I had an etrailer hitch and wiring before on a 2017 highlander and the plug kept getting knocked off because it was too low. Thanks.

For your 2020 Toyota Highlander, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C99FR with the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket - Short # 18140 and the # ETBC7 or whatever 7-way you will be using.
Another great mounting option that definitely may be higher than others is the Curt Easy Mount Bracket for 4- or 5-Way Flat and 6- or 7-Way Trailer Connectors - 2" Hitch # C58000. This will keep the trailer connector above the chain loops.
