For your 2009 Nissan Murano, first I recommend the etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch # e65AR. It is a durable, fully welded trailer hitch receiver featuring a powder coat finish over an e-coat base to ensure superior corrosion resistance. It has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver opening with easy, bolt-on installation; no welding required.
I have included instructions for the proper installation of this product on your vehicle.
For this hitch receiver, you will also need a ball mount. I recommend the Curt 3/4 inch Rise or 2 inch Drop Ball Mount # D-4 and Hitch Pin and Clip item # PC3.
For your 2-bike carrier needs, I recommend the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier # S63360. The double arms provide stability, while the straps tighten down over nearly any sized bike frame. It also features anti-sway cradles to secure the bikes to the rack using durable rubber straps. I have included a link to the instructions for proper installation of this product.
I also recommend the Swagman Easy-Out Women's Bike Adapter # 64005 if you are carrying a bike without a horizontal bar. It allows for the safe, level transport of your bikes and increases ground clearance of your vehicle. I am including a video review of this product.
If you prefer a platform-style rack, I recommend the Thule T2 Pro XTR Platform-Style Bike Carrier # TH83JV. It carries 2 bikes of almost any design, size, or suspension and has a platform-style design that provides quick, effortless bike loading. It is also made in the US and adjusts for different bike lengths and secures tires with rubber straps. I have included instructions for the proper installation of this item as well as a review video of this bike carrier.
I have also included a link to the bike accessories page on our website.
