Wiring Harness for 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander
Question:
I need a replacement wiring harness. Everything went together great on my 2014 Mits. Outlander Non-Sport. I have triple checked installation and tried different ground connections, but cannot get it to work. I have tested the 4 prongs using a test light with ground clamp connected to ground prong. The Black stays on even when vehicle lights are not turned on. The yellow left turn signal will not blink or come on at all when the turn signal is on, but it is blinking on the car. The green right turn signal will blink correctly on the test light while it is blinking on the car. The only thing I can find wrong is the little black box that converts the wiring to the 4-wire trailer. This is the first time using and testing it. Is it still under warranty?

The wiring harness I highly recommend for your 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander, because of its reliability and ease of install, is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118482.
We have found the Tekonsha brand to be by far the most reliable trailer wiring harnesses and this is a confirmed fit for your '14 Outlander without the factory tow package.
The Curt Wiring Harness # C56189 you were referring to has a 1-year warranty, so as long as you got it less than a year ago it is warrantied.
