You are saying it will hold a roof top tent. Sounds good! You are the only so far claiming that I can put a roof top tent on my 2 doors Jeep Wrangler JK. That is my plan! Which rooftop tent would you recommend? Thanks

The Rooftop Tent Rack for Jeep JK Hardtop part # ER32FR which is a fit for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler does not have a listed weight capacity. I checked with the manufacturer and this is the information they have given in regards to weight.

"This package is designed to hold (2-3 people plus tent equivalent) of Static Weight when properly distributed using the Weight Distribution Feet (9 included) and the required Solid Hard Top Brackets (included). Weight limit is limited to vehciles capabilities, suspension, OEM maximum limits, and common sense."

If you are looking for a rooftop tent compatible with the above rack, I recommend the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent part # Y07436 for 2 person or part # Y07437 for 3 person. These options like most rooftop tents get most of their support from the legs.
