Diameter of Peterson Round Trailer Tail Light
Question:
i have some confusion about the size of the 431800 tail light. some of the details say it is a 4 in. round. in one of the diagrams it shows measurement of 3 3/4 in. the housing in my trailer is 3 3/4. a 4 in. wont fit. i need to know for sure that the 431800 will fit.

The Peterson Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail - Incandescent - Round - Red Lens - Passenger Side # 431800 and driver's side # 432000 are 3-3/4 inches diameter as you can see in the attached video. The fitguide simply puts 4 inches as the closest option as they often are rounded up in size to the closest fit. We do measure each product and the specific measurements are 3-3/4" diameter x 2-5/8" deep with mounting studs 2 inches on center.
