Which Gooseneck Ball Fits Best to OEM Rail Kit of 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

I have a 2020 Silverado 2500 HD with the OEM gooseneck package and ball and puck kit. The kit is manufactured by Curt. I am not at all happy with how the ball fits in the gooseneck hitch and GM does not seem to care. I have hauled a tractor and a load of horses with it so far and the amount of play in the ball is excessive to say the least. My question is does the BandW kit BWGNXA2061 fit better? Ive always preferred BandW products but I thought the OEM would be the way to go. I was very wrong. If the BandW does fit better I will be ordering one soon.

Yes the B and W OEM gooseneck ball part # BWGNXA2061 will fit better than the OEM ball you have now. We've found that this ball is the easiest to use and most reliable option. The Curt sometimes has issues where it freezes up too which the B and W does not so that's another reason we recommend it.
