Clearance for a Swagman Current Installed with a Draw-Tite Max Frame on a 2018 Hyundai Tucson

Hello! I purchased this hitch for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson Limited Ultimate. I would like to add the swagman current bike rack but am unsure if the clearances will work, especially while folded up. Can you please answer this definitively? Thanks for your help!

I understand your concern with this combination, and I have good news.

The Draw-Tite Max Frame, product # 75836, installs under the 2018 Hyundai Tucson and doesn't give much room for a folding bike rack. From the center of the hitch pin to the bumper, it measures 4-1/2 inches. You can find more measurements for this hitch in the installation video, which I've linked.

Meanwhile, the Swagman Current, product # S64678, has a clearance from the center of the hitch pin of 5-3/4 inches when folded.

So, there should be about a 1-1/4 inch clearance between your folded up bike rack and your bumper. You will have no problem with this combination.
