Recommended Weight Distribution Shank with 10 Drop for Husky WDH

Question:

I have a 2019 ram 2500 big horn 4x4 crew cab. When I bought my camper they gave me this Distribution hitch and set it up for a 2008 Ford F-250 extended cab. I put it in Ford and measured from pavement to ball and then ed it into the ram and ball is 10” higher than Ford! It currently has the hitch that came with kit and has one more hole it can lower down. What size should I use?

It sounds like you're looking for a weight distribution shank compatible with your Husky # HT32217 that has a 10" drop, which is pretty extreme if the truck is stock height. The only option we have that will work with your Husky WDH is the Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 15-3/4" or 16-1/4" Drop - 1,500 lbs TW # C17125, which can provide between 7-1/2" and 15-3/4" of drop.

I've also linked our helpful article on how to measure to find the correct drop for your trailer, if you have any doubts about the measurement you found. If you find that you need less than 8" there are some better options available for you, so just let me know if you need something different.
