Can I Use my Existing Stainless Steel Brake Lines with Kodiak Disc Brake Kit

Question:

does kit k2r35kg take a rubber flexible brake hose or just a metal brake line. my boat trailer has disc brake already but caliper only has one bolt holding it on and metal brake line screws directly into caliper. Wanted to a two bolt caliper to hold the brake pads on.

Yes. The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35DKG can be used with the existing brake lines on your trailer, regardless of whether they're rubber or steel. These brakes do have the 2 bolt caliper that you're looking for and they're designed to be used on 3500-lbs axles, so they're exactly what you're looking for.

If you wanted to swap to flexible rubber brake lines, for a single axle trailer you'd want to use the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # 18SI-BLKIT or the HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # HS496-252 for a tandem axle trailer.
