Does Umbilical Included With Roadmaster RM-15267 Flat Towing Diode Kit Charge Towed Vehicle Battery

Question:

My 2016 Thor Hurricane has a pin on the 7-way connector labeled battery charger. However, it doesnt look like this 7 to 6 way cable brings that pin to the car. On the RV side, should I jumper the battery charger pin to the Aux center pin to bring power to the towed vehicles battery? Or, is there a 7-way to 7-way towed vehicle cable? Thank you!

The umbilical included with the # RM-15267 flat towing diode kit does deliver the 12-v power from the pin in the 1:00 position (assuming it's active) to the center pin of the 6-way connector on the other end of the umbilical. You'll want to make sure that the terminal on the plug mounted on the towed vehicle is wired to the positive battery terminal of the towed vehicle. We offer a kit, part # RM-156-25 that will provide the necessary wire, hardware, circuit breaker and wire loom to wire this circuit. I'll link to an installation video that shows how this is done.
