Best Size Thule Force XT Roof Mounted Cargo Box That Fits Best On A 2019 Chevrolet Traverse

We are wanting to get a Thule Force XT roof top box for our 2019 Chevy Traverse. We already have the Thule AeroBlade Edge racks, we do not have a sunroof. And am wondering which Force XT box would be the better fit? We do not want the box to extend over the front windshield.

Let's find you the right fit! I like to use the biggest box possible on the roof because it looks best when the roof looks full but also gives you the most amount of carrying capacity! What you need to do is first open up your rear hatch on your 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. Measure on the roof from where the spoiler on the hatch is all the way to the start of your front windshield glass.

If the measurement is under 90-1/2 inches, you can use the Thule Force XT 22 cu ft version # TH6359B.
If the measurement is under 82-3/4 inches, you can use the Thule Force XT 18 cu ft version # TH6358B.
If the measurement is under 74-3/4 inches, you can use the Thule Force XT 16 cu ft version # TH6357B or the 11 cu ft version # TH6356B. If I had to pick between the 16 and 11 cu ft version I would go with the 16 cu ft version just because it's bigger and has the same length. I would rather have more room in the box than not.

The reason why I am wanting you to take this measurement is because this way, you will not be able to see the box through your front windshield and also will be able to open your rear hatch without it coming into contact with the roof box.
