Replacement Fenders for 13 Inch Wheels on 1990 Shorelandr Trailer

Question:

I recently inherited a 1990 Shorelandr B1817 trailer that has been sitting for 15 years. It had stock tires on it A78-13 ST i believe. They are both psat the point to being used. We replaced the tires with a ST175 80R13. The fenders are super tight, what do you think i should change to?

Expert Reply:

The A78-13 tire is the metric equivalent to 165-13 tires so the closest option for tire replacements we carry are the ST175/80-13 like # AM10210. This is about 2 inches diameter difference giving you about 1 inch less clearance on your fender.

The Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender with Top and Side Steps - Black Plastic - 13" Wheels - Qty 1 # F008583 is a great fit for that size tire. If you won't be using the fender as a step, then you can simply use the L-brackets # PF775-BKT-2 for mounting. If you will use the step then you will want to use # PF1135-BKT-2.
