5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Install Brackets for Valley Rails in a 2012 Chevy 2500HD Short Bed Diesel

looking for a 5th wheel install kit for my 2012 chevy 2500 hd truck. i have the valley rails out of my old truck just need the install kit brackets. my hitch is a 20000k reese hitch. looking for the custom brackets that just bolt in.

For your 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500HD short bed you can use bracket kit # RP50066. This kit comes with the brackets and the hardware to install them to the truck frame. However, it does not include the hardware to attach the 5th wheel rails to the brackets. You do not want to re-use the old hardware because it is intended for one-time installation.

For hardware you will need to use # RP58430. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the brackets. There should not be any compatibility issues with Valley rails. However, we do not recommend mixing brackets and rail manufacturers because they have not been tested together. The best thing to do is go with the complete kit, # RP50066-58, and you will get everything you need in that one kit and you know it will all be compatible.
