How To Stop A-Frame Trailer Tongue Jack from Bottoming Out

Question:

I have a 2015 Clipper travel trailer that I tow with a 2015 Chevy traverse. Occasionally I hit the tongue jack will pulling it in or out of spots. Do you have any replacement Jacks or ideas to give me a little more clearance? Thanks

Expert Reply:

Yes, the Ultimate Trailer Jack part # 322-RDJ-2K is the perfect option to prevent bottoming out the tongue jack since you can adjust the shaft on the base to ensure you have as much ground clearance as possible. It also makes lifting and lower the trailer much faster since it works as a drop leg.
