Does Ground Wire of 4-Way to 7-Way 30717 Need to Be Ran if Just Used for Turn Signals
Question:
Do you need to connect the white wire with the eyelet to ground to make the flat 4-way plug for turn signals etc. work or simply just plug the 4-way plugs together?

If you were going to only use the # 30717 for turn signal functions the extra white wire does not need to get grounded. It won't hurt anything to have it ran to a ground but it's really only needed if installing a brake controller or if you connect the 12 volt accessory circuit.
