How To Add a 7-Way To a 2019 Toyota RAV4

What products do I need for to set up wiring for a 7 way adapter so I can tow a pop up camper? I have the hitch.

In order to install a 7-way trailer connector on a 2019 Toyota RAV4 you'll first need to start with a 4-way, I recommend the Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56434 which is plug and play.

Then, you can covert this to a 7-way which the best option we have for this is the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L.

If the trailer has brakes, this combo will allow you to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which is the easiest to install, least invasive brake controller on the market so it is something I highly recommend.
