Can a 5th Wheel Hitch Be Installed On a Truck with Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
Question:
Will the 9480 Drawtite hitch fit into a Curt double lock gooseneck hitch? if not does Curt have a hitch like the B and W companion hitch to switch from gooseneck to 5th. wheel? Thanks,.

In order to tow a 5th wheel trailer using the Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitch you'll need an adapter, the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter part # C16210. This can be used with pretty much any fifth wheel hitch such as the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16140 which is what I recommend using.
The Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # 9480 or one like it won't work.
