Recommended Hitch Cargo Carrier for Class I Hitch on 2013 Nissan Altima
Question:
I have a 2013 Nissan Altima. I have had a Drawtite hitch 1 1/4 added to it. I am wondering if there is any accessory I can safely add to carry some luggage outside the car without actually using my trailer itself.

Yes. You can use something like the 20 X 47 Reese Carrier # 63155, which is compatible with 1-1/4" hitches. This carrier weighs around 44-lbs so it would allow you to carry roughly 156-lbs of cargo on the back of your 2013 Nissan Altima, but I do recommend confirming the tongue weight capacity in your owner's manual to be sure it is 200-lbs.
While I think your best choice is above, you could also look at the other 2 compatible carriers, the # C18145 and the # C18110. These are both made by Curt and would work for you. There are slight differences between these three that might be important to you.
