Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch #24863 Fit a 2013 Ford Mustang GT500
Question:
I noticed that the installation instructions on the Draw-Tite mentions only the GT500 5.4 which had a more GT-like rear fascia prior to 2013. For 2013 the rear of the GT500 5.8L motor has changed and now has 4 tailpipes and a redesigned, deeper fascia. Will this hitch or any work on the new car without cutting?

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and he stated that hitch # 24863 should fit the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500, all V8 models. They have not yet heard of any problems with the fit. There is no trimming required. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
If you plan on doing some towing the hitch does not come with the ball mount. You will need part number 3594. For a 1-7/8 inch ball you can use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
