How To Use Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 Tow Bar on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler  

Question:

Would like to use my RoadMaster 2 Blackhawk tow kit on my ‘13 Wrangler Jk 4dr. It is coming off my ‘03 YK wrangler rubicon2dr. Can I use the same base plate or have to get a new one? Also, what do you recommend for lighting kit and brake supplement? Would like to order all at the same time. PS no wench or aftermkt bumper. Thanks in advance

In order to use the Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 Tow Bar part # RM-422 on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler you'll need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521448-5. The base plate kit for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler will not work.

For a lighting kit, the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 is best and then for the braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR just make sure you also get the 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332 but that's it.
