What do You Recommend for Hauling my Camper with my 2018 Toyota Sienna without Weight Distribution
Question:
Considering this hitch for a 2018 Sienna Limited. Just wondering what the lack of information relating to a rating for weight distribution for this hitch 13343 means? Does it mean that one should not use weight distribution with this hitch or that the rating is the same with and without WD ? In theory , I might want to used WD setup with sway control/brakes if I was to get a trailer at 2000-2500 lbs. My understanding is that it would be best to have brakes in that situation and may want sway control . If you could let me know what your understanding of that and the lack of info /rating on WD for this means I would appreciate it. Thank you

We can get you set up. To start you're correct that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13343 is not designed to be used with weight distribution. We can still get the sway control, the brakes working and even help keep your Sienna level.
For level the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4155 for the rear is an easily adjustable way to acheive a similar result.
As for the brakes you will start with a working 4-way like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118648 for non SE models and part # 118498 for SE models then add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 to get a working 7-way at that point you can add the Trailer Brake Controller part # TK63VR.
For sway use the Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems part # 17200 with a ball mount like the Curt Ball Mount w/ Sway Control Tab part # D320 and ball part # C40007 for a 2 5/16" coupler or part # C40020 for a 2" coupler.
