Helpful Expert Reply:
The Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack TS02G is an excellent rack and by adding the Cable Locks and Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack part # PTSCLK12 you have the ability to secure the rack to your vehicle and your bike to the rack.
This is as good of a security system as you will find on any bike rack. This works as a great preventative measure to keep your bike safe. If a theif really wants your bike though there are no 100% secure methods available short of taking them inside when you leave them unattended for long periods of time.
I've linked a video for you to check out on the lock system.
