Height Adjustable Auto Slide Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 w OEM Rail Kit

Question:

I have a 2020 Silverado 2500 hd with OEM puck system and and older Jayco fifth wheel camper. I use a pull-rite sliding hitch. My trailer is set up way to high. I have almost 10” of clearance between the camper and the truck bed rails. I’m probably 4-5” out of level when I’m hooked up to my trailer. My hitch has no height adjustment and my pin box is up as high as it can be. The fifth wheel has a Leland 7910 pin box and the camper is 10k. I have a different hitchstandard Reese 20kI can use, but I hate to loose the turning radius of the sliding hitch. What type combination of pin box/hitch can I use to help level out the trailer and keep the tighter turning radius.

The Pull Rite hitches unfortunately do not have any height adjustment available and replacement pin boxes for your Leland aren't going to have a significant height difference so your best choice is a new automatic sliding hitch that is height adjustable like the Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 which is an auto slider that can fit your truck with the rail kit adapter # DM6333.
