Question:
My Coach steps are going out ok then the motor keeps jerking at the end. When you retract them it keeps jerking when there up for a little bit then it quits. The no. on the motor is 300-1406. I didnt know if it was the motor going bad or something else. I could use your help on this please.

This definitely sounds like the motor on your Lippert steps going out, especially with what you're seeing when retracting the steps.
Since you have a motor with the part number 300-1406, you can use the Replacement Motor # LC301695 to replace your current step motor and get your steps back working.
