Parts Needed to Make a Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller Fully Functional on a 1997 Chevy Tahoe

Hi.....first of all, thanks for providing this forum for ordinary folks like me! I am wondering how to go about installing this product on my 97 Tahoe and if it is doable, what else to I need to do the job correctly.....installation kit etc. Thanks in advance for your time and trouble!!

The first thing you are going to need is a 4-way trailer connection at the rear of your 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe if you do not have one. For that you will need a Curt T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55319. I attached installation instructions and video for this product for you to check out.
Next, you will need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that the Tekonsha PRIMUS IQ Electronic Brake Controller # TK90160 that you referenced can function. For that you will need a Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will come with everything you will need to make the brake controller functional. I attached installation instructions and a video for this product also.
