Trailer Lights Not Working on a 2007 Acura RDX with Wiring Harness # 118500 Installed
Question:
i have a Acura RDX 2007. i purchased this item and it does not turn on the lights to trailor. my tralor has a 7 pole conection so i purchased a adapter 30717 . all was installed as per instructions.the trailor lights all work with my other vehicle. so i know its not the trailor. maybe the part in question is not the right one?please help...

First make sure that both the in line fuse (red) and the mini fuse (blue) are both installed. Otherwise the harness will not work. I know that the instructions say to install the fuse for the Honda Crosstour but it is also possible that it is needed on your RDX. Check the fuse location and determine if the fuse is missing or needs to be replaced.
Also, make sure that the adapter you are using is grounded to the vehicle frame in a location that is bare metal. If cannot be grounded to a painted or corroded surface. A bad, weak, or missing ground would cause the circuit to not be complete and the lights will not work.
