Recommended 7-Way and Trailer Brake Controller for 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with 4-Way Flat
Question:
I have a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. It has a 4 pin connector already. I need a 7 pin connector for my camper and a brake controller. If I buy a 7 pin conversion to plug into the 4 pin and a brake controller will this work to safely tow my camper?

Since you already have the 4-way trailer connection, you will simply use the # ETBC7L kit along with the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 and then no wiring under your dash is needed. This will allow you to safely transport your trailer with electric brakes.
If you prefer to have a more traditional brake controller, then you will use # ETBC7 instead and then hardwire the controller of your choosing. I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 for most applications because the LCD screen makes things easy to understand.
I've attached some videos to assist.
