Slide Topper Installation on 2017 Grand Design Reflection 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Minimum distance between the box flange and the topper itself when extended. Also would like the angle in degrees the topper canvas should be when fully extended or the rise over run. Like one foot of run with 1 inch of rise or something like that. Thanks

The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 13'7" Wide - 48" Projection - Black # LCV000168110 is a complete kit including the rail extrusion. It doesn't have a specified pitch for the rise over run as you described as it simply has a minimum placement of the rail being at 3 inches over the slide. There is a range of anywhere between the 3 to 7 inches and some trailers come with a rail extrusion already attached for you to utilize. If you use the 3 inch minimum for the rail extrusion, then it will basically be a 3/4 rise for each 12 inch run.

If you already have the rail extrusion, then there are other slide topper options available, you simply want to measure your slide out from outer flange to outer flange for the correct fit. The product page will tell you the correct range that measurement fits. For instance the # LCV000168110 we've been looking at is for slide-outs that are between 158 and 163 inches flange to flange. For instance # LCV000163300 is a white option that fits that same dimension. I've linked the page to all your options
