Trailer Hitch and 4 Bike Rack for 2019 Subaru Outback
Question:
Im looking for a hitch and 4-bike trailer for a 2019 Subaru Outback. From my research, Im seeing #e98847 and the Thule Camber 4 as the best fits. That gets the nod over the Reese Explore 4 because you can fold the arms down. Does that jibe with what you know? Also, I just spoke with a Subaru dealer who said they need to do a little cutting of the Outback bumper to install the factory model. Im not seeing any mention of that in anything on this site, however. I did see that the heat-shield needs to be cut a bit, but thats obviously pretty minor work. Can you let me know your thoughts on this combination? Thank you!

The etrailer hitch # e98847 and the Thule Camber part # TH9056 are a really great combination for your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon. The only thing I might suggest different is to go with the hitch # 76227 as it has a more concealed crosstube. This makes it a bit less visible and also helps with ground clearance. This does not require drilling either. Just some minor fascia trimming.
