There are numerous gooseneck hitch options depending on the series truck you have (1500, 2500HD, or 3500). I have included a link to the gooseneck hitch main page for your truck. Just select the correct series/bed size combination to see the available options.
In terms of clearance issues, some of the hitches can be used with an offset ball to provide a few more inches of clearance. And the shape of many gooseneck trailers (a V-shape at the front) actually helps with clearance on short bed trucks.
In terms of capacity, consult the truck owners manual to determine if it has the capacity to tow the trailer when loaded and ready to tow.
