Recommended 12v Connection at Trailer Hitch for 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE with Electric Lift

Question:

Got the 2019 Highlander XLE V6, with the factory/dealer OEM trailer hitch and wiring harness installed. Need to add a 12V wiring harness to power the electric liftgate for a powered chair. I have a 12v harness from the 2008 Highlander that connects to the battery. Just a 2-wire cable inside a heavy-duty insulation with a 2-prong connector at one end, and connects to the 12V vehicle battery connectors, with a built-in fuse. But that requires routing the cable from front to back. Is there a wiring harness that will connect to existing wiring without running a wiring cable from the front battery to the back?

You can connect to your factory 4-way trailer connector to the # ETBC7L which will give you the 12V power you referenced and a 7-way trailer connector. This will give you the wiring and circuit breaker you referenced and then you can just wire the 12v power and ground to a 7-way trailer side connector like the 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector - Trailer Side # A7WCB.
