Could 50 Amp Power Defender be Used on Trailer that Has 30 Amp Power

can I use the power defender 50A for my trailer that is 30 amp and plug into a 30 amp power at the rv site.

Yes you could use the 50 amp power defender part # CAM55306 that you referenced on your 30 amp trailer but it wouldn't start protecting the circuits until more than 50 amps was put on the circuits. A better option would be a 30 amp power defender part # CAM55312.
