Troubleshooting Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Control Panel with Words Shifted to the Side

Question:

On my auto level system, the touch pad is hard to see and the print seems to go to the left so that half the words are cut off. I have to guess where it’s at. Does the pad have a battery? Does it need to be replaced? Or reset in some way?

I'm guessing you have the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 system so your control panel would be part # LC421484. If that's the case then try shutting down the entire system and then prying the control panel off of the base (see attached) so you can get at any connections in the back and disconnect them for at least 15 minutes to perform a hard reset.
