Recommended Under Bed Bracket Kit and 5th Wheel Hitch for 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
Hi, I have a 2017 Silverado 2500 with standard 66inch bed. I want to get undermount rails with a fixed non sliding hitch that will work with a turning point box pin. The trailer is about 10k gross weight. Since the box pivots I am not wanting to have the hitch slide and also want a hitch that is easy to remove when not towing to allow full use of my bed. What mount/hitch options do you recommend?

We've got just what you're looking for. The Reese # RP30868 under-bed rail kit is a fit for your 2017 Silverado 2500. For a hitch, I'd recommend the Reese M5, part # RP30921. The hitch features a one piece wrap around jaw that holds the king pin very tightly and a shock dampening hitch head for a smooth and comfortable ride. The hitch is fully compatible with the Lippert Turning Point rotating pin box.
To install a 7-way in your truck bed, I'd recommend # 50-97-410.
I've linked to install videos for the under-bed rails and the trailer wiring harness.
