How Far Into the Bed Does Pace Edwards Tonneau Cover Sit On a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 8' Bed SRW
Question:
How far does the cover protrude below the bed rails of the truck? Is it the same for the metal version as well? I have some saws and coolers that are 20” tall. I would like them to fit underneath the tonneau cover. I’m looking to install on a 2016 GMC 3500hd Crew cab single rear wheel 8’ bed

The Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover part # 311-KRC96A18 which is correct for a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 8' Bed SRW will sit about 1-1/2" below the bed rails. That said, the canister up by the cab which holds the cover once retracted will sit about 11" below the bed rail. This would be the same for all models like the Switchblade part # 311-SMC96A18 as well.
