Options for 4 Bike Rack and Pulling a Pop-Up Trailer
Question:
we just purchased a 2019 buick enclave with a towing package to pull a pop up. the vehicle can tow 5000 lbs. were trying to figure out the best way to be able to use a bike rack when we pull the camper. is there a dual hitch you recommend for using a bike rack for 4 bikes 2 adult, 2 kids? something that might be able to go with an Allen 4 bike hitch rack? or is there another alternative youd recommend? Thanks

The Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver # MPG544 is a great option for you to tow your pop-up and also a bike rack. The only thing you need to account for if using that system is the adapter will reduce your trailer hitch tongue weight by 50%.
The Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs # D210 is not a separate adapter because the ball mount and support are integrated so it will not reduce the tongue weight rating of your hitch. You will need to connect your trailer and then your bike rack when using this ball mount.
We don't carry the Allen bike rack you referenced, but as long as it is able to fit a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver it will work. What I fount online doesn't have the anti-sway cradles so I instead recommend the Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Steel # TH9056. For the kid's bikes or any bike with a step-thru style frame I also recommend using the # UB01 to create a top frame rail between the seat post and the handlebars.
