Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe with No Spoiler

I prefer the outway over the gateway. Will the outway fit my car if it has no spoiler?

Expert Reply:
Thule recommends the Gateway, # TH88VR, or the Passage, # TH910XT for your G35 coupe. These bike racks use 6 straps instead of 4 cables to attach to the vehicle, and would do a better job of spreading out the weight of the rack and the bikes. They do still list the OutWay # TH45JV as a fit. The Outway is by far the easiest to install with only 2 rubber coated straps.
You will also be limited to racks with a 2-bike capacity because the vehicle cannot support the weight of 3 bikes.
Between the Gateway and the Archway, I would go with the Gateway because it is less expensive and only lacks the passive security strap and cable lock (present on the Archway). I have included instruction and video links. I have also included the video on the OutWay to see if you want to go that route.
If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
