How to Carry Bikes on a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse

If I buy the trailer hitch for my 2018 Chevy Traverse do I need anything else? I will be using it primarily for my bike rack.

The Curt Class 3 Max Frame Receiver Hitch # CU29FR is all you need to carry a hitch mounted bike rack. This hitch has really good capacities so it will not only be a great hitch for big bike racks, but it will also work great for cargo carriers and ball mounts to haul trailers.

# 118761 will give you your basic running, turn and brake signals for a trailer. The etrailer ball mount kit # 989900 is a versatile kit that fits this hitch.
Installing a trailer hitch on your vehicle can be fairly involved, so if you plan on doing this yourself, I attached a video that will help. Rob does a good job of walking you through step by step how to get it installed.
