Troubleshooting Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller Error
Question:
Is this Bluetooth compatible with a Flagstaff E Pro 15tb? I was given one by the dealer. It worked great the first 2 times out. Now it is giving me a warning that breakers are not engaged and it is a wiring issue. Any information will help. I am pulling this trailer with a 2006 Nissan Xterra Thanks

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180 will work with your 2006 Nissan Xterra. Your 7-way simply has to be functioning correctly for 12v power and trailer brake light signal. I recommend cleaning your 7-way connection with sand paper and then using dielectric grease like # 11755 to keep functions separated from bleed over due to corrosion. Make sure all your connections are clean and free of debris. It sounds like you are having a power surge which makes me think there is a bleed over from another function.
I've attached the instructions to help you with troubleshooting the specific error you are seeing as the description doesn't give me a specific solution.
If there is still issue after cleaning connections and confirming the controller is working, then you will need to use a circuit tester like # PTW2992 to trace wiring because you may have a short somewhere in the trailer wiring circuits of your vehicle.
