Question:
DO we need to cut the notch for the Draw-Tite on a 2011 HHR?

If you have a 2011 Chevy HHR and it is an SS model, there is a small section that needs to be trimmed in the rear fascia for the hitch to fit properly. I have included a link to the installation instructions that shows where you would need to to trim. On non-SS models, you should not have to trim and the isntallation should be like the video I have linked.
If you plan on doing some towing, the hitch comes with the proper ball mount, pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118407. I have linked a video for the instructions as well.
