Trailer Tire Recommendation for 2003 Sooner Horse Trailer with Tandem Axles and GVWR 16k 235/85R16
Question:
I have a 2003 Sooner Horse trailer SE 424 with Tandem axels. The GAWR for each is 6,084 LB. The GVWR is 16,224LBs. the tag on the trailer calls for LT235/85R16 tires. Do I need an F or g rated tire?

To cover the GVWR of your trailer that is 16,224 lbs you'd want a Load Range G trailer tire in the size you have of 235/85-16 like the WestLake part # LHWL410. This has a weight capacity per tire of 4,400 at 110 psi and would work really well for you.
