Recommend Weight Distribution System for Airstream Trailer
Question:
For a trailer airstream either 3000 or 4000# dry weight, what WD stabilizer do you recommend? Pulling with an older Porsche Cayenne rated at 7500 #. Thank you.

Without knowing exactly what your loaded tongue weight is I can give you a ballpark recommendation. I recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 6K GTW, 600 TW # RP66558. This is rated for total tongue weights of 400 to 600 lbs which includes the loaded tongue weight of the trailer along with any cargo behind the rear axle. Then you just use the 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 7,500 lbs # 63845.
If you need a higher rated system then I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # RP66087 rated for 400-800 lbs total tongue weight. You will use hitch ball # A-90 for that application.
I've attached a help article to assist as well.
