Installation of Tow Ready Base Rail Lock # TR63254 On Fifth Wheel Base Rails
Question:
What is the proper way to install the pin asssociated with this lock, with the bent pin flat against the rail kit or is it ok for the pin to be pointed towards the sky? System will not fit if it needs to be flat against the rail kit, but there seems to be some play in the support legs with it pointed towards the sky. Just want to make sure I install it properly. Thanks,

On the Tow Ready Base Rail Lock, part # TR63254, the bent pin can be pointing up or down. The installation procedure doe not require it to be it a particular position. As long as it fits through the hitch and the base rails, and can be locked, it will work fine.
