Recommended Weight Distribution System for 13,500 Toy Hauler
Question:
I am looking for a 2.5 shank distribution hitch with a 2 5/16 ball class 4, has a 8 , 14000 weight dist, 6000 weight carrying. the distribution bars go into what appears to be a 1.5 hole. this is the information on my existing one, but mine is a 2shank and i need a 2.5 shank. Loaded trailer weight is around 13,500 lb.

If your tongue weight is between 1500 and 2000 lbs (which it should be, given the 13.5K weight of your toy hauler), the Blue Ox # BXW2000 would be perfect for you. The system includes a shank that would provide up to 2 inches of drop, and combines weight distribution with sway control which is really needed for a long towable like your toy hauler. The trailer ball, # 19286 is sold separately.
The Equal-i-zer # EQ64FR you'd looked at is a great product, but it wouldn't have enough cpacity for the weight of your toy hauler.
