The only class v trailer hitch option we offer for a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15324 which has a 2" receiver tube opening. This is a custom fit option with no drilling required.
I don't have confirmation of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT45515.
