Will the Thule Apex Swing XT 4 Bike Rack Fit a 2012 Honda Pilot

Question:

Hi, Im interested in this bike rack Thule Apex Swing XT , but I wanted to make sure it would work on my vehicle. I have a 2012 Honda Pilot Touring Edition 4WD. It has a 2inch hitch. Would this rack work for my vehicle? Also, I would be hauling 3 bikes. One is a mens mountain bike with a crossbar that goes straight across, but two of the bikes have slanted bars one is a childrens bike and one is an REI Co-Op bike with a step-through bar. Im guessing I would need 2 bike adapter bars and what is the cost for those? If you are able to give your opinion, between this bike rack and the Yakima Full Swing 4 Bike Rack, which is the better option? Thank you,

Yes, the Thule Apex Swing XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9027XT is an excellent option for a 2012 Honda Pilot, one of the very few which will allow you to open and access the rear hatch with the bike rack still attached. In regards to using the bike rack with bikes which don't have a horizontal top tube, you will indeed want to use an adapter bar to carry them level so I also recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # 64005.
